Above: the whole group at Disney on Ice
25 pediatric patients from Hamad Medical Corporation were given the opportunity to experience the magical Disney on Ice in Doha on 15 June 2013. The children were all outpatients from the Complex Care Clinic, Cardiology Unit, Renal Unit and the Hematology/Oncology Unit.
The children were accompanied by 25 caregivers on the special day and the group was treated to VIP treatment, including free tickets and special entry to the venue. Judith Nelmes, Director of Nursing for Pediatrics at Hamad Medical Corporation, who led the initiative, said, "The day was an outstanding success for the patients, and I thoroughly enjoyed it too!"
